Eddie Barclay - Wives

Wives

  • Nicole (14 years), jazz singer under the name of Eve Williams
  • Marie-Christine (4 years)
  • BĂ©atrice (1.5 years) - she subsequently married Guy Marchand
  • Michele (briefly)
  • Daniele (1 year)
  • Cathy (3 years)
  • Caroline (11 years) married in 1988
  • Tiara, married in June 2002 on the island of Moorea.

Famous quotes containing the word wives:

Not only do our wives need support, but our children need our deep involvement in their lives. If this period [the early years] of primitive needs and primitive caretaking passes without us, it is lost forever. We can be involved in other ways, but never again on this profoundly intimate level.
    Augustus Y. Napier (20th century)

Most fathers will admit that having children does not change perceptibly the way they are treated or perceived in the workplace, even if their wives work. Everyone at his workplace assumes that she will take on the responsibilities of the children and the home, even if she too is in the office all day.
    Anne C. Weisberg (20th century)
