Drivers Wanted is a 2005 comedy film written, directed and produced by T. Lee Beideck. Beideck also stars in the film, along with David Sirk, Amaury Batista, Dave Spiecher and Brian Osborne.
The plot is centered around the pizza delivery drivers for a small town pizza shop.
Drivers Wanted is also a documentary about a taxi garage in Queens, NY featuring Johnnie "Spider" Footman, NYC oldest taxi driver, as well as the rumored basis for Danny DeVito's character in the 1970's show Taxi. Directed by Joshua Z Weinstein and Produced by Jean Tsien, asc. It premiered at the AFI Discovery Silverdocs Film Festival in June 2012 and opened theatrically in NYC at the ReRun Theater on November 30, 2012.
