Kosher Usage
One popular use of drawer dishwashers is by Jewish people who keep kosher. Orthodox Jewish law requires utensils for meat and dairy to be washed separately. The double drawer concept allows separate meat and dairy dishwashers in a small kitchen that might otherwise have room for only one full-size dishwasher.

Famous quotes containing the word usage:
“Pythagoras, Locke, Socrates—but pages
Might be filled up, as vainly as before,
With the sad usage of all sorts of sages,
Who in his life-time, each was deemed a bore!
The loftiest minds outrun their tardy ages.”
—George Gordon Noel Byron (1788–1824)
