Production
The new Drake & Josh made-for-TV Movie aired on August 3, 2007 during Drake & Josh weekend. This made-for-TV Movie was intended to be the series finale, but turned out to be more of a two-parted episode and because of the fact Nickelodeon did not air the final episodes chronologically, "Helicopter" and "Dance Contest" were aired after. The series was briefly revived for the made-for-TV Movie Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh more than a year later.
