Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge

Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge, also known by its Japanese title Dragon Ball Z: The Incredible Mightiest vs. Mightiest (ドラゴンボールZ とびっきりの最強対最強, Doragon Bōru Zetto: Tobikkiri no Saikyō tai Saikyō?), or by Toei's own English title Dragon Ball Z: The Strongest Rivals, is the fifth Dragon Ball Z animated feature movie, originally released in Japan on July 20, 1991 at the Toei Anime Fair along with the second Magical Tarurūto-kun movie and the first Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken movie. In 1996, Creative Products Corporation made an English dub for the Philippines with the title Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Strongest. It was shown in theatres and was released on VHS there. Funimation Entertainment released their own North American English dub to VHS and DVD on January 22, 2002, and was shown on Cartoon Network multiple times. It was later remastered and released in a Double Feature set with Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler, on Blu-ray and DVD on May 27, 2008. The film was released to DVD again on November 1, 2011 in a remastered box set containing the first five Dragon Ball Z movies.

Sometime in the early 2000s, AB Groupe, a French company, released their own English dub in the Netherlands on VHS and DVD. Their dub used the title Dragon Ball Z: Super Rivals and aired on TV in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Another English dub was also produced in Malaysia and released on VCD under Toei's official English title.

Famous quotes containing the words dragon and/or revenge:

    Sir Eglamour, that worthy knight,
    He took his sword and went to fight;
    And as he rode both hill and dale,
    Armed upon his shirt of mail,
    A dragon came out of his den,
    Had slain, God knows how many men!
    Samuel Rowlands (1570?–1630?)

    Science in England, in America, is jealous of theory, hates the name of love and moral purpose. There’s revenge for this humanity. What manner of man does science make? The boy is not attracted. He says, I do not wish to be such a kind of man as my professor is.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
