Personal Life
Doug Anderson, who had married Barbara Gayle Webster in 1953, devoted the rest of his life to raising his three children and spending time with his family. Doug died in January 1998. Due to his commitment to athletes getting a good education, a memorial bursary was set up in his name and memory at the University of Victoria.
