Always striking or shooting zombies with a double tap is one of Columbus's rules in the movie Zombieland.

In the game Payday: The Heist, SWAT units occasionally shout "Double tap! Triple tap! Just keep tapping!" after the players have taken many hits and still stand.

Famous quotes containing the words pop and/or culture:

Every man has been brought up with the idea that decent women don’t pop in and out of bed; he has always been told by his mother that “nice girls don’t.” He finds, of course, when he gets older that this may be untrue—but only in a certain section of society.
    Barbara Cartland (b. 1901)

With respect to a true culture and manhood, we are essentially provincial still, not metropolitan,—mere Jonathans. We are provincial, because we do not find at home our standards; because we do not worship truth, but the reflection of truth; because we are warped and narrowed by an exclusive devotion to trade and commerce and manufacturers and agriculture and the like, which are but means, and not the end.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
