The headquarters of Dorset Police is at Winfrith and has 21 stations at Blandford, Boscombe, Bournemouth Central, Bridport, Christchurch, Dorchester, Ferndown, Gillingham, Gravel Hill, Highcliffe, Lyme Regis, Poole, Portland, Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Swanage, Verwood, Wareham, Weymouth Wimborne and Winton.
Winfrith is also home to the Dog Section and Air Operations Unit.
