Don't Let Daddy Kiss Me

"Don't Let Daddy Kiss Me" is a song by the heavy metal band Motörhead. It was written by Lemmy and released as a single in 1993. The song is covered with "Born to Raise Hell", which was released as a separate single, and "Death or Glory". All three songs are from the Bastards album.

The song is about child sexual abuse, and is one of Lemmy's favourites. Written three years before being recorded, Lemmy offered it to Lita Ford and Joan Jett, amongst others and although a lot of enthusiasm was received, he ended up recording it himself.

Famous quotes containing the words daddy and/or kiss:

He hangs in the hall by his black cravat,
The ladies faint, and the children holler:
Only my Daddy could look like that,
And I love my Daddy like he loves his Dollar.
    William Jay Smith (b. 1918)

Some women, when they kiss, blush, some call the cops, some swear, some bite, some laugh, some cry. Me? I die. Die. I die inside when you kiss me.
    Samuel Fuller (b. 1911)
