Dongfeng Motor

Dongfeng Motor

Dongfeng Motor Corporation is a Chinese state-owned automotive manufacturing company headquartered in Wuhan, China. Traditionally included as one of the "big 3" Chinese automakers, Dongfeng is currently in the top 4 along with Chang'an Motors, FAW Group, and SAIC Motor. As well as buses, trucks, and cars, it also manufactures parts and cooperates with foreign car makers. As of 2011 it has more Sino-foreign joint ventures than any other Chinese automaker.

It was the third-largest Chinese automaker in 2012 by production volume, and Dongfeng manufactured over 3.2 million whole vehicles this year with passenger cars comprising 87% of manufactures. The number of cars counted as passenger vehicles conflates consumer offerings and light commercial trucks and vans.

Dongfeng Motor has two listed subsidiaries in which it has majority ownership: Dongfeng Motor Group Co (SEHK: 0489) (simplified Chinese: 东风集团股份; traditional Chinese: 東風集團股份; pinyin: Dōngfēng jítuán gǔfèn) and Dongfeng Automobile Co Ltd (SSE: 600006) (simplified Chinese: 东风汽车股份有限公司; traditional Chinese: 東風汽車股份有限公司; pinyin: Dōngfēng Qìchē gǔfèn yǒuxiàn gōngsī).

What shall we do with country quiet now?
A motor drones insanely in the blue
