Faison was married to Lisa Askey from 2001-2005. In summer 2011 Faison became engaged to his girlfriend Cacee Cobb.
He has four children, twins, daughter Kaya and son Dade Faison (b. 1999), and a son Kobe Faison (b. 2001) with ex-wife Lisa Askey. He also has a son named Sean Faison-Ince (b. 1996) from a previous relationship with Audrey Ince.
Faison is best friends with his Scrubs co-star Zach Braff.
