Dogwood Arts Festival (Knoxville) - Trails & Gardens

Trails & Gardens

At the heart of the Dogwood Arts Festival are the region’s spectacular dogwood trees. The Dogwood Trails showcase this year’s spring spectacle in over 60 miles of breathtaking landscaping, rainbow-hued flowers, and blossoming trees. The scenery is available for touring and photography, compliments of the homeowners. Explore by way of a leisurely stroll, bicycle ride, Sunday drive, or professionally-guided bus tour. A founding tradition of the Dogwood Arts Festival, the nationally-recognized Dogwood Trails are a must-see!

Bus Tours
Enjoy everything that the scenery has to offer and let someone else do the driving! Professionally guided bus tours are available through this year’s featured Farragut Trail.

Tour Farragut’s Dogwood Trail with a stop at Town Hall to visit the Farragut Folklife Museum and Farragut Memorial Plaza, which includes the Admiral Farragut statue and a Civil War Trail marker.

Famous quotes containing the words trails and/or gardens:

My noisy denunciation trails off in doubt.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

The ocean is a wilderness reaching round the globe, wilder than a Bengal jungle, and fuller of monsters, washing the very wharves of our cities and the gardens of our sea-side residences. Serpents, bears, hyenas, tigers rapidly vanish as civilization advances, but the most populous and civilized city cannot scare a shark far from its wharves.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
