Dog Days was an American reality television series which aired on Animal Planet in the fall of 2002. The show followed a number of New Yorkers, notably former Saturday Night Live choreographer Danielle Flora, as they raised their pet dogs in New York City.
Dog Days aired eight episodes, and was not renewed for a second season. It was produced by Steven Rosenbaum and his New York production company CameraPlanet.
Famous quotes containing the words dog and/or days:
“That hour in the life of a man when first the help of humanity fails him, and he learns that in his obscurity and indigence humanity holds him a dog and no man: that hour is a hard one, but not the hardest. There is still another hour which follows, when he learns that in his infinite comparative minuteness and abjectness, the gods do likewise despise him, and own him not of their clan.”
—Herman Melville (18191891)
“I have heard it said that it took Messrs. Shipman and Hymer [the playwrights] just three- and-a-half days to write their drama. I should like to know what they were doing during the three days.”
—Dorothy Parker (18931967)
