Dog Days Are Over - Live Performances

Live Performances

"Dog Days" has been performed on every date of the Lungs Tour 2009 and has become a fan favourite. Florence often asks the crowd to do a particular action during the end of the song.

During the songs original promotion, the band played the song at BBC Introducing Sessions, along with "My Boy Builds Coffins", "Kiss with a Fist" and "I'm Not Calling You a Liar".

The song has been performed live several times since the confirmation of the song being re-released. The song was first performed on Alan Carr: Chatty Man on 18 March 2010. The band also performed the song on GMTV on the single's release date, 22 March 2010.

The group performed the song live at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. It was later performed on The Colbert Report in the episode airing on 21 June 2011.

This play holds the season’s record [for early closing], thus far, with a run of four evening performances and one matinee. By an odd coincidence it ran just five performances too many.
