The Dart model name has been applied to a compact sedan based on a stretched and widened version of the platform used in Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The 2013 Dodge Dart replaces the Caliber as Dodge's compact passenger car. Engine options, all four-cylinder, will be a turbocharged 1.4-liter unit also available in the Fiat 500, and naturally aspirated 2.0- and 2.4-liter engines.
