Direction For Our Times - "Anne", A Lay Apostle

"Anne", A Lay Apostle

"Anne" is a wife and mother of six originally from the United States, currently residing in Ireland, who receives messages in prayer through a process known by the Catholic Church as interior locution.

She believes the messages come from Heaven, which include Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and many saints recognized by the Catholic Church.

In obedience to what the Virgin Mary requested of her, for reasons of discretion to protect her family, she is presented under an anonymous name, "Anne."

In 2003 Jesus began this work known as Direction For Our Times, which He called a mission of great mercy for the world.

Famous quotes containing the words lay and/or apostle:

    Lay me a green sod under my head,
    And another at my feet;
    And lay my bent bow at my side,
    Which was my music sweet;
    And make my grave of gravel and green,
    Which is most right and meet.
    —Unknown. Robin Hood’s Death (l. 65–70)

    Go, all of you poor people, in the name of God the Creator, and let him forever be your guide. And henceforth, do not be beguiled by these idle and useless pilgrimages. See to your families, and work, each one of you, in your vocation, raise your children, and live as the good Apostle Paul teaches you.
    François Rabelais (1494–1553)
