All diseases that pertain to the gastrointestinal tract are labelled as digestive diseases. This includes diseases of the oesophagus, stomach, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, the ileo-cecal complex, large intestine (ascending, transverse, and descending colon), sigmoid colon, and rectum.
