Ocampo had a civil marriage with actress Kristine Hermosa on September 21, 2004. However, on June 21, 2005, Kristine Hermosa filed in the court nullification of her marriage to Diether Ocampo. In 2007, the Lower Court issued a resolution in favor of the actress, but a solicitor general made an appeal.The final decision was released by the Court of Appeals in January 30, 2009 declaring their marriage null and void.
