Famous quotes containing the words entire and/or universe:

It is possible to lead astray an entire generation, to strike it blind, to drive it insane, to direct it towards a false goal. Napoleon proved this.
    Alexander Herzen (1812–1870)

God is a character, a real and consistent being, or He is nothing. If God did a miracle He would deny His own nature and the universe would simply blow up, vanish, become nothing.
    Joyce Cary (1888–1957)
