Dessie O'Hare (born 26 October 1956), also known as "The Border Fox", is an Irish republican paramilitary, who was once the most wanted man in Ireland.
O'Hare was originally a volunteer in the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) but left in the late 1970s following a series of disciplinary clashes. He later joined the Irish National Liberation Army (INLA). After kidnapping a Dublin dentist and cutting off two of his fingers in 1987 he was imprisoned until 2006, when he was granted extended temporary release.
