Famous quotes containing the words generations, ali and/or descendants:
“In a few generations more, there will probably be no room at all allowed for animals on the earth: no need of them, no toleration of them. An immense agony will have then ceased, but with it there will also have passed away the last smile of the worlds youth.”
—Ouida [Marie Louise De La Ramée] (18391908)
“That was always the difference between Muhammad Ali and the rest of us. He came, he saw, and if he didnt entirely conquerhe came as close as anybody we are likely to see in the lifetime of this doomed generation.”
—Hunter S. Thompson (b. 1939)
“And what if my descendants lose the flower
Through natural declension of the soul,
Through too much business with the passing hour,
Through too much play, or marriage with a fool?”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
