Dependency Walker

Dependency Walker or depends.exe is a free program for Microsoft Windows used to list the imported and exported functions of a portable executable file. It also displays a recursive tree of all the dependencies of the executable file (all the files it requires to run). Dependency Walker was included in Microsoft Visual Studio until Visual Studio 2005 (Version 8.0) and Windows XP SP2 support tools.

It has been developed by Steve Miller.

Famous quotes containing the words dependency and/or walker:

Fate forces its way to the powerful and violent. With subservient obedience it will assume for years dependency on one individual: Caesar, Alexander, Napoleon, because it loves the elemental human being who grows to resemble it, the intangible element. Sometimes, and these are the most astonishing moments in world history, the thread of fate falls into the hands of a complete nobody but only for a twitching minute.
    Stefan Zweig (18811942)

It is healthier, in any case, to write for the adults one’s children will become than for the children one’s “mature” critics often are.
    —Alice Walker (b. 1944)
