Reasons For Travel
While dental tourists may travel for a variety of reasons, their choices are usually driven by price considerations. Wide variations in the economics of countries with shared borders have been the historical mainstay of the sector. Examples include travel from Austria to Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia, from the US and Canada to Mexico and Peru, from the Republic of Ireland to Northern Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Turkey and Ukraine. While medical tourism is often generalized to travel from high-income countries to low-cost developing economies, other factors can influence a decision to travel, including differences between the funding of public healthcare or general access to healthcare.

Famous quotes containing the words reasons for, reasons and/or travel:
“Write to the point: say immediately what you want to say most, even if it doesnt come first. There are three reasons for doing this. First, you will then have said it, even if nothing else gets said. Second, your readers will then have read it, even if they read no more. Third, having said it, you are likely to have to say something more, because you will have to explain and justify what you chose to say.”
—Bill Stott (b. 1940)
“Science is the knowledge of many, orderly and methodically

—John Frederick William Herschel (17921871)
