Demis is married to one of the most successful Greek singers Despina Vandi who was also born in Germany and grew up in Greece. They have a daughter called Melina(2004), and a son called Giorgos(2007). A Discovery Channel documentary entitled Europe's Richest People estimated Nikolaidis and Vandi's combined fortune to be in excess of €30 million euros in 2009.
