Delta Force: Land Warrior received mixed or average reviews. It holds a Metacritic score of 7.1. Gamespy gave it an 8.3 of 10, calling it "the best distance squad combat game on the market.", albeit citing problems with the A.I. Likewise, IGN gave the game 7.3, reporting the same problems; the enemy being too easy to defeat, A.I. problems, and also realism issues.
