Delhi-6 - Inspiration

Inspiration

Reports of Kala Bandar (Black Monkey) attacks in the city of Delhi as shown in the film are inspired by real reports of much publicised monkey or monkeyman attacks in and around Delhi in 2001.

Kala bandar has been shown as symbolic character for a bad thing. In this film it has a deep meaning. Kala bandar is inside every person who is doing something wrong. We have to kill that kala bandar within ourself.

Famous quotes containing the word inspiration:

Free labor has the inspiration of hope; pure slavery has no hope.
    Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865)

Shakespeare carries us to such a lofty strain of intelligent activity, as to suggest a wealth which beggars his own; and we then feel that the splendid works which he has created, and which in other hours we extol as a sort of self-existent poetry, take no stronger hold of real nature than the shadow of a passing traveller on the rock. The inspiration which uttered itself in Hamlet and Lear could utter things as good from day to day, for ever.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

Poets should be lawgivers; that is, the boldest lyric inspiration should not chide and insult, but should announce and lead, the civil code, and the day’s work. But now the two things seem irreconcilably parted.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
