Deke Richards, also known as Dennis Lussier and Deke Lussier, is a songwriter and record producer, one of many white musicians/songwriters who were affiliated with Motown. He is notable for being a member of both The Clan and The Corporation, the latter being a hitmaking production team that wrote and produced The Jackson 5's early hits, including "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save", "Mama's Pearl", and "Maybe Tomorrow". Deke also wrote and produced for Bobby Darin, The Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas, The Blackberries and Stacie Johnson, among others.
His father was the screenwriter Dane Lussier.
