Deirdre Anne Barlow (née Hunt, previously Langton and Rachid) is a long-standing fictional character in the UK television ITV Granada soap opera, Coronation Street. Portrayed by actress Anne Kirkbride, the character first appeared onscreen during the episode that was aired on 20 November 1972.
