Customers benefit as they make more informed choices. The sellers benefit as customers that would be disappointed with a product and might seek to return it or require tech support simply do not buy it.
The use of Internet forums by deals websites has been phased out as the medium has developed. Most pure play daily deals websites no longer feature a forum on their websites.
