Band members Kita and Amen said the following about the Deadache:

"It's an old title. We had that song back in the '90s already, a song called 'Deadache', and our singer, Mr. Lordi, he thought that he made that up, that whole word. Like, headache and deadache, but he heard it actually means something." "It actually, the title, it means something. Actually we had sixty songs to choose from and we picked out fifteen songs. We didn't think any (musical) directions or anything, we just did what we have." "Usually we don't think (laughs)" "We do what feels good with it."

Famous quotes containing the word press:

Whereas the comic confronts simply logical contradictions, the tragic confronts a moral predicament. Not minor matters of true and false but crucial questions of right and wrong, good and evil face the tragic character in a tragic situation.
—Marie Collins Swabey. Comic Laughter, ch. 7, Yale University Press (1961)

As they move into sharing parenting, men often are apprentices to women because they are not yet as skilled in child care. Mothers have to be willing to teach fathers—both by stepping in and showing and by stepping back and letting them learn.
—Nancy Press Hawley. Ourselves and Our Children, by Boston Women’s Health Book Collective, ch. 6 (1978)

Our most tragic error may have been our inability to establish a rapport and a confidence with the press and television—with the communication media. I don’t think the press has understood me.
    Lyndon Baines Johnson (1908–1973)
