DC Universe Animated Original Movies - Cancelled Projects

Cancelled Projects

The Teen Titans: The Judas Contract was planned as the third DC Universe Animated Original Movie, to be released after Superman: Doomsday (2007) and Justice League: The New Frontier (2008). It was announced in 2006 but later put on hold. This film was to be based on "The Judas Contract" story from 1984 featured in Tales of the Teen Titans #42-44 and Teen Titans Annual #3 by Marv Wolfman and George PĂ©rez. Warner Brothers Animation writer/producer Bruce Timm confirmed in April 2010 that there were no current plans to revive the project.

With the slower sales of the Wonder Woman film, plans for a sequel were shelved, as well as a planned animated film based on the 2003 mini-series Batgirl: Year One. Timm has also said that there are no plans for an Aquaman film.

Famous quotes containing the words cancelled and/or projects:

All the great words, it seemed to Connie, were cancelled for her generation: love, joy, happiness, home, mother, father, husband, all these great, dynamic words were half dead now, and dying from day to day.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)

One of the things that is most striking about the young generation is that they never talk about their own futures, there are no futures for this generation, not any of them and so naturally they never think of them. It is very striking, they do not live in the present they just live, as well as they can, and they do not plan. It is extraordinary that whole populations have no projects for a future, none at all.
    Gertrude Stein (1874–1946)
