Current Operations and Extension Plans
The railway operates every Sunday, with six services on its regular time table from Daylesford to Musk and return. On the first Saturday evening of each month, the railway also operates the Silver Streak Champagne Train. The railway also operates a weekly Sunday market on land adjacent to the Daylesford station, which both provides revenue and assists to promote its services.
Besides ongoing works to restore their services to Bullarto, the DSCR is interested in reopening the Bullarto-Trentham section of line. Numerous obstacles must be faced before this can begin, mainly the cost. Included in this project would be the upgrade of the Daylesford Bullarto section. Significant outside funds would be needed to achieve this. While the reservation is still intact, many sections are now privately-leased from the crown, as are both stations on this stretch—Lyonville and Trentham.

Famous quotes containing the words current, operations, extension and/or plans:
“We all participate in weaving the social fabric; we should therefore all participate in patching the fabric when it develops holesmismatches between old expectations and current realities.”
—Anne C. Weisberg (20th century)
“A sociosphere of contact, control, persuasion and dissuasion, of exhibitions of inhibitions in massive or homeopathic doses...: this is obscenity. All structures turned inside out and exhibited, all operations rendered visible. In America this goes all the way from the bewildering network of aerial telephone and electric wires ... to the concrete multiplication of all the bodily functions in the home, the litany of ingredients on the tiniest can of food, the exhibition of income or IQ.”
—Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929)
“Where there is reverence there is fear, but there is not reverence everywhere that there is fear, because fear presumably has a wider extension than reverence.”
—Socrates (469399 B.C.)
“When I heard at the close of the day how my name had been receivd
with plaudits in the capitol, still it was not a happy night for me
that followd,
And else when I carousd, or when my plans were accomplishd,
still I was not happy,
But the day when I rose at dawn from the bed of perfect health,
refreshd, singing, inhaling the ripe breath of autumn,”
—Walt Whitman (18191892)
