Athletics
Davis High School is a member of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section's Delta Valley Conference. The school has had more team championships (91) than any other in the section. in girls' soccer (other than St. Francis who has more titles in girl's soccer), boys' tennis, girls' track and field and boys and girls Cross Country. 42 section titles have been awarded in aquatic sports. Only one has been awarded in football.
In the 2008-2009 school year, Davis Cross Country team won seven section championships in both boys' and girls'. In the 2008 season, Boys' Sophomore team had their best, and Davis cross country's best appearance in Section Championship.
DHS has some of the top athletic facilities in the region, including Halden Field. Although once known for its rickety bleachers and unreliable lighting, the field was renovated in 2009 and now is a much better facility.
Davis High's principal athletic rivals are Woodland High School, Elk Grove High School and Jesuit High School.
