David Firth - Work With The BBC

Work With The BBC

Firth has also produced several animations for the BBC Comedy website, including his Musical Predictions 2009 and a five part series about a character called Jerry Jackson in 2009, a character sometimes believed to be an actual person, but stated on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe as being an alter-ego of Firth. An earlier short of Jerry Jackson made outside of the BBC about Linkin Park also gained the attention of the band themselves. In 2010 he created a new series based around a new character called Drillbithead. On May 26, 2011, Firth released a ninth Salad Fingers episode titled, "Letter."

Famous quotes containing the words work with the, work and/or bbc:

Honorable Senators: My sincerest thanks I offer you. Conserve the firm foundations of our institutions. Do your work with the spirit of a soldier in the public service. Be loyal to the Commonwealth and to yourselves and be brief; above all be brief.
    Calvin Coolidge (1872–1933)

    But this rough magic
I here abjure, and when I have required
Some heavenly music—which even now I do—
To work mine end upon their senses that
This airy charm is for, I’ll break my staff,
Bury it certain fathoms in the earth,
And deeper than did ever plummet sound
    I’ll drown my book.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

The word “conservative” is used by the BBC as a portmanteau word of abuse for anyone whose views differ from the insufferable, smug, sanctimonious, naive, guilt-ridden, wet, pink orthodoxy of that sunset home of the third-rate minds of that third-rate decade, the nineteen-sixties.
    Norman Tebbit (b. 1931)
