Famous quotes containing the words world, poker and/or tour:

In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for. As for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican.
    —H.L. (Henry Lewis)

The poker player learns that sometimes both science and common sense are wrong; that the bumblebee can fly; that, perhaps, one should never trust an expert; that there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of by those with an academic bent.
    David Mamet (b. 1947)

Do you know I believe that [William Jennings] Bryan will force his nomination on the Democrats again. William Howard Taft (1857–1930)
