Datsun Truck - Predecessors

Predecessors

The Datsun truck line began with the 17T, built between 1937 and 1944. This was followed by the near identical post-war Datsun 1121 (1946) and 2124 (1947-1949). In 1949 the 3135 took over, followed by next year's Datsun 4146. In 1951 the 5147 appeared, which was succeeded two years later by the 6147. The Datsun 6147 was built until the 1955 introduction of the 120-series truck.

I recognize in [my readers] a specific form and individual property, which our predecessors called Pantagruelism, by means of which they never take anything the wrong way that they know to stem from good, honest and loyal hearts.
    François Rabelais (1494–1553)

No philosopher understands his predecessors until he has re-thought their thought in his own contemporary terms.
Sir Peter Frederick Strawson (b. 1919)
