Data Rate Units
In telecommunications, bit rate or data transfer rate is the average number of bits, characters, or blocks per unit time passing between equipment in a data transmission system. This is typically measured in multiples of the unit bit per second or byte per second. Various other units may also be used to measure the data rate.

Famous quotes containing the words data, rate and/or units:
“To write it, it took three months; to conceive it three minutes; to collect the data in itall my life.”
—F. Scott Fitzgerald (18961940)

“Even in harmonious families there is this double life: the group life, which is the one we can observe in our neighbours household, and, underneath, anothersecret and passionate and intensewhich is the real life that stamps the faces and gives character to the voices of our friends.
