Data Nagar (Urdu: داتا نگر ) is one of the neighbourhoods of Orangi Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
This neighbourhood was named after famous Sufi Hazrat Bābā Farīduddīn Mas'ūd Data Ganjshakar
There are several ethnic groups in Orangi Town including Muhajirs, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras Ismailis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. From a 1998 census, the population of Orangi Town is estimated to be over 720,000.
