Source Code Leak
In 2011, an unauthorized leak of the complete source code tree to the game was made to the Internet and posted to a Google Code repository with the uploader claiming it to be under an LGPL license. A Hacker News user received confirmation from the repository owner that this was in fact a leak and not an officially-sanctioned code release. The leak also included headers and code from 3rd-party sources with licenses that explicitly forbid public disclosure and redistribution.

Famous quotes containing the words source, code and/or leak:
“Being the dependents of the general government, and looking to its treasury as the source of all their emoluments, the state officers, under whatever names they might pass and by whatever forms their duties might be prescribed, would in effect be the mere stipendiaries and instruments of the central power.”
—Andrew Jackson (1767–1845)
“Wise Draco comes, deep in the midnight roll
Of black artillery; he comes, though late;
In code corroborating Calvin’s creed
And cynic tyrannies of honest kings;
He comes, nor parlies; and the Town, redeemed,
Gives thanks devout; nor, being thankful, heeds
The grimy slur on the Republic’s faith implied,
Which holds that Man is naturally good,
And—more—is Nature’s Roman, never to be
scourged.”
—Herman Melville (1819–1891)
“One leak will sink a ship: and one sin will destroy a sinner.”
—John Bunyan (1628–1688)
