Biography
Chatto is the son of the late actor Thomas Chatto Sproule (stage name Thomas Chatto) and theatrical agent's secretary, and later an agent in her own right, Rosalind Thompson (Ros Chatto).
On 14 July 1994, he married Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones. The Chattos have two sons:
- Samuel David Benedict Chatto, 16
- Arthur Robert Nathaniel Chatto, 13
In 1987, using Deed poll, Chatto legally changed his name from Daniel Chatto St. George Sproule to Daniel St. George Chatto. At the same time, his mother, also using Deed Poll, abandoned her surname Sproule in favor of Chatto.
