Famous quotes containing the words dancing and/or brave:

What was dancing to you then?
We went from the high gate away
To a black hill the other side of men
    Where one wild stag stared
    At the going day.
    Allen Tate (1899–1979)

I hear many condemn these men because they were so few. When were the good and the brave ever in a majority? Would you have had him wait till that time came?—till you and I came over to him?
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
