D Class Destroyer

Three classes of Royal Navy destroyer have been named D class destroyer:

  • D-class destroyer (1913).
  • Later orders of the C- and D-class destroyer from the 1930-31 programme.
  • The modern Type 45 destroyer is also known as the D class.
