Operating Fleet
Currently, the Blue Line is operated with Budd-built 2200-series and 2600-series rail cars. These cars are typically trained together because the older 2200-series cars have "blinker doors" that open inward and are not ADA compliant. They are scheduled for retirement in 2013.

Famous quotes containing the words operating and/or fleet:
“I love meetings with suits. I live for meetings with suits. I love them because I know they had a really boring week and I walk in there with my orange velvet leggings and drop popcorn in my cleavage and then fish it out and eat it. I like that. I know Im entertaining them and I know that they know. Obviously, the best meetings are with suits that are intelligent, because then things are operating on a whole other level.”
—Madonna [Madonna Louise Ciccione] (b. 1959)
“On the middle of that quiet floor
sits a fleet of small black ships,
square-rigged, sails furled, motionless,
their spars like burned matchsticks.”
—Elizabeth Bishop (19111979)
