Famous quotes containing the words crystal and/or beach:
“But the thing that I saw in your face
No power can disinherit:
No bomb that ever burst
Shatters the crystal spirit.”
—George Orwell (19031950)
“The dominant and most deep-dyed trait of the journalist is his timorousness. The journalist confines himself to the clean, gentlemanly work of exposing the griefs and shames of others.”
—Janet Malcolm (b. 1934)
