Personal Life

Collinsworth currently lives in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, with his wife Holly (also an attorney), and their four children. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1991.

His son, Austin Collinsworth, plays football at the University of Notre Dame.

On March 12, 2011, it was reported that Collinsworth was among eighty-three people who were rescued from Jeff Ruby's Waterfront restaurant in Covington, Kentucky, when the floating restaurant tore loose from its moorings and began to drift on the Ohio River, only to be stopped by the bridge that separates Ohio from Kentucky. Collinsworth also has a steak named after him by the same restaurant.

Famous quotes containing the words personal life, personal and/or life:

He hadn’t known me fifteen minutes, and yet he was ... ready to talk ... I was still to learn that Munshin, like many people from the capital, could talk openly about his personal life while remaining a dream of espionage in his business operations.
    Norman Mailer (b. 1923)

Let no guilty man escape, if it can be avoided.... No personal considerations should stand in the way of performing a duty.
    Ulysses S. Grant (1822–1885)

I would like you to understand completely, also emotionally, that I’m a political detainee and will be a political prisoner, that I have nothing now or in the future to be ashamed of in this situation. That, at bottom, I myself have in a certain sense asked for this detention and this sentence, because I’ve always refused to change my opinion, for which I would be willing to give my life and not just remain in prison. That therefore I can only be tranquil and content with myself.
    Antonio Gramsci (1891–1937)
