The specialists of the German Society of Food (German Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ernährung) concluded that the use of Herbalife products alone does not solve weight problems. In independent studies made by the German magazine Konsument (Zeitschrift Ökotest 11/2003), the products of Herbalife were found to be among the most expensive "healthy eating" products.
