Counting Every Minute
Everybody Knows is the debut album by UK singer Sonia.
Released in May 1990, the album was predominantly written and produced by the Stock Aitken Waterman team. Included on the album was the No.1 hit "You'll Never Stop Me Loving You" as well as top 20 hits; "Can't Forget You", "Listen to Your Heart", "Counting Every Minute" and "End of The World". At the time of release, Sonia became the first female UK artist to achieve five top 20 hits on one album.
The album was a success, reaching the top 10 in the UK. Despite this, the record company, Chrysalis dropped Sonia after this album. Sonia went on to score another top 20 hit soon after when she teamed up with Big Fun for the single "You've Got a Friend".
Everybody Knows was re-issued by Cherry Red Records in 2010 with bonus tracks.

Famous quotes containing the words counting and/or minute:
“What culture lacks is the taste for anonymous, innumerable germination. Culture is smitten with counting and measuring; it feels out of place and uncomfortable with the innumerable; its efforts tend, on the contrary, to limit the numbers in all domains; it tries to count on its fingers.”
—Jean Dubuffet (19011985)
“In a minute there is time
For decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse.”
—T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
