Post-war

From 1945 until 1953 Rhoads was director of Memorial's Center for Cancer and Allied Diseases. In 1953, Rhoads became director of the newly merged Memorial Sloan–Kettering Cancer Center. He also was an adviser to the United States Atomic Energy Commission regarding nuclear medicine.
