Consolacion, Cebu
Consolacion (colloquially ’Lacion) is a 1st class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. It is about 12.5 kilometres (7.8 mi) from Cebu City, forming part of the Cebu Metropolitan Area. Consolacion stretches some 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from north to south and the width at its widest point approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi), lying within the north latitudes at 10° 29' and the east longitudes of 123° 55' and 124° 00' geographical frame. Consolacion is bounded on the north by the municipality of Liloan, Cebu, on the south by the city of Mandaue, on the east by the Mactan Channel and on the west by the city of Cebu and the municipality of Compostela.
