Compressible Flow Phenomena
Two of the most distinctive phenomena which occur in compressible are the possibility of choked flow(see Internal Flows) and the presence of acoustic waves, which may also be referred to as either compression or expansion waves, depending on whether they lead to an increase or decrease in pressure.
